Happy New Year.

Obviously, we've been kinda quiet since the summer. The iPhoto Guide is still available in its web version and still receives a steady stream of readers.

Work on additional Guides was sidetracked by other projects, but I'm hoping that some time in early 2004 we can revive the My Mom's Guide series with new Guides and new forms of user help.

If you haven't already left your email address for the "Free Newsletter", you can do that and you'll be notified when we re-launch with new stuff.

Or, if you don't want to leave your email, just check back here every couple of weeks and see what's up.

My Mom's Guide Seminar in Dover New Hampshire.
On June 4 I'll be presenting my beginner's seminar "The 4+4 Most Useful Features of iPhoto 2". This 90 minute session is a patient and fun exploration of the features that iPhoto beginners use most often. The unique "4+4" format presents four features chosen by me, plus four "requests" from the seminar attendees.

This seminar will be held at 7pm at the MacEdge computer store in Dover, NH. Tuition: $20. For more info about this seminar, or to pre-register, send email to userguides@da4.com. Space is limited.

I've added a new navigational feature. Each Guide page now includes links for the Previous and Next pages. This will make it easy for you to "flip" through the pages, and read the Guide sequentially.

Shawn King of the weekly internet radio program, Your Mac Life, wrote on his website:

The iPhoto userguide "is a great, quick way to learn (or to teach your mom) what you need to know to use iPhoto effectively and efficiently." www.yourmaclife.com

Thanks Shawn.

As many of you know, Userguides got mentioned in Macintouch last week (thanks Rick). That has brought alot of visitors to the site and has made things a little exciting around here.

Thanks to everyone who has sent emails, with kind words and suggestions for the Guide. I'm looking at all of them, and responding when I can.
