How to Use this Guide

Is it a breath mint? Or a candy mint?

Is this Guide a Tutorial? Or a Quick Reference? Well, I'm hoping that it can be both.

The instructions have been organized so that you can start at the beginning, and work your way through the whole thing, or, you can jump into a particular section to add a new skill, or refresh your memory about how to do something.

Each Section of this Guide is organized into three parts.

I suggest hat you bookmark the Table of Contents page of this Guide in your browser so you can easily refer to it when needed. Also feel free to send the URL for the Guide to your friends, co-workers, and other Mac buddies.

Prerequisites:

A few sections in this Guide require you to understand how to perform some basic Mac OS X actions. The main one of these is the ability to locate things in folders on your hard drive, and to be able to use the Mac OS X Open/Save/Save As window.
